Picture Catch-Up

SERIOUSLY? SERIOUSLY. This rump. Is it not THE CUTEST rump in the ENTIRE world??? Yes, we completely agree. This is usually how we can find her if she is completely asleep. One morning, we took advantage and snapped a couple pictures. Ugh... this girl melts my heart.

Our perfect, sweet angel girl
We got the privilege to meet Baby Ruby!! No... not Mima Ruby.... BABY Ruby!! Yes, our very good friends, Tyler and Reina, named their sweet, beautiful, daughter, Ruby. She is beautiful and wonderful and we are so excited for them!!! It was great to finally meet Ruby. Tyler and Reina are also headed out of Utah soon as Tyler will be going to school in....... Minnesota! for 1 year while he finishes up a degree in air traffic control! We're hoping to be able to see them whenever we might be home even if they won't be there all that long!

I'm not exactly adventurous when it comes to doing Kaylen's hair. 1. She isn't always an agreeable participant and 2. I'm not all that creative. But we were noticing that most of her hair seemed long enough to try the good ol' fashioned pony tail! So, one Saturday afternoon, we gave it a whirl! And look how FLIPPIN ADORABLE! She looked like SUCH a BIG girl! The only real issue I saw was for nap time and diaper changing time... when lying on one's back, the pony tail doesn't work out so well, but she did enjoy it. She really does love being called a 'big girl'!

We were feeling rather poor and decided it would be TONS of fun to make our weekly pizza from SCRATCH! Well... making it this way is NOT cheap and after a big of a fight with the thin crust pizza dough and Gregg having to run out to buy more... we will wait again for this "fun" event sometime in the far future! It actually was fun because Kaylen got to help and they did turn out rather yummy. We just realized that ordering pizza, especially if you pick it up and find a deal is not a bad way to go. But it was lots of fun to have Kaylen participate in the making of dinner!

Pictures have been rather hit or miss lately! Seems like we have lots of fun moments, but either don't grab the camera or haven't done enough fun things. Utah's weather is feeling rather bi-polar and continues to go from wanting to be winter to wanting to be summer. SO, we are COMPLETELY ready for summer! Hopefully, there will be LOTS and LOTS more pictures to come in the upcoming months!
